| Joshua Han To see and listen to the wicked is already the beginning of wickedness.
First name: Kihyun "Joshua" Nickname: mochifizz Surname: Han Age: 24 Birthday: 28. October Gender: Male
LOOKS
Hairstyle: Mid-length, slightly wavy Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Brown Body Type: Short king Clothing Style: Baggy street-style and comfortable loungewear Description: Joshua doesn't care all too much about fashion. He doesn't wear clothes that really compliment his figure, or make him look any taller. He has a lot of the same shirts in different colours, oftentimes oversized to grant maximum comfort for extensive gaming time. When he doesn't have morning classes, he does take the time to make himself look a little more well-kept, wearing a shirt with a jacket or adding some accessories. Since he usually doesn't have time to do his hair in the morning, it's often a bit of a mess and he looks like he just rolled out of bed. His cute bedhead was part of the reason that made his streams popular really fast, though he doesn't care much about the support for his appearance. Sometimes, when his hair bothers him, he puts the bangs in a little ponytail, though the sides still stick out just as much. His glasses are a signature element in his charming appearance that just makes him look so friendly. He used to feel embarrassed for them, but now that he doesn't care anymore, they are his statement piece.

He sticks to doing his own thing, sometimes a little too much, since he tends to have a hard time changing his mind and trusting others. He will always work hard to achieve the goals he carved into his mind, however it happens that he leaves other people behind and neglects their needs in order to get to his goal as quickly and efficiently as possible. His parents will describe him as a loving son and brother who just tries to be the best he can be, but they wish he would let more people into his life. The few people in his life that actually matter to him and stuck around will always be treated with as much love and care as he can give, and he deeply respects his family. Since he's never really fallen in love before, he often questions his sexuality. Though he deeply fears to be cast out again, which affects the way he thinks about love quite a lot. For the most part he will just stay away from it as much as possible, since he knows what has attracted him in the past. Traits: -

"Kihyun, my dear. Your dad and I, we have some news to share with you. Some good ones, and some not so good ones. Would you sit down with us for a moment?" His parents sat the young boy down, who seemed quite displeased having to leave his console behind. His mother lovingly ruffled through his hair, he giggled and ducked away under her hand. Her soft smile grew a little more stern as she was about to reveal the news. "You're going to have a sibling soon, a little brother. And because of that, daddy is going to have to work harder. He found a place for us, but it's very, very far away from here. You'll get to see a new country, isn't that exciting?" As his expression became more and more disappointed, his mother tried to point out as many positive sides as she could. She threw her husband a pleading look, that he should help her, but he knew how much it hurt their son. The boy looked down at his lap, clenching his fists to try and hold the tears in. But as they rolled down his cheeks, he just jumped from his chair and ran towards the stairs. Kihyun turned around. "I don't want a brother! And I don't want to move again! I hate you!!" Both watched as their son stormed into his room and slammed the door which made it unable for them to hear his muffled crying. His mother was ready to follow him, but her husband held her arm and shook his head. "Give him some time. He'll calm down."
"Kihyun, can I come in? I brought animal crackers, too?" His mother gently knocked on the door and slowly opened it to stick her head in. The boy was sitting in a corner on his bed, pouting at her with reddened eyes. "Aw, what's wrong, pumpkin?" She would do this whenever he was upset. Bring him a warm glass of milk and animal crackers, and he couldn't stay mad at her for long. As they sat there, sharing the snacks, he opened up about his concerns, how he could never find friends when they moved. They'd moved within the country a dozen times already, and moving so very far away frankly scared him. They weren't blessed with much extra money, so he'd never travelled to another country. In that sense, his parents regarded it a blessing that his father found a place where they could live comfortably and re-open their restaurant.
A year had passed, he had received his English name for the international school's application and his baby brother was born. A lot had happened for the 11-year old, and his parents changed as well. His mother was tired a lot, busy with the new baby and keeping the house clean and neat. She barely had time to work in the restaurant, which left Kihyun to do light work, such as cleaning dishes, grocery shopping, and even doing some deliveries. All the work and little attention from his parents left him a quiet kid who kept to himself, and as the new student, little trust from his classmates. Especially since most of them were so young, the friend groups had already been formed, and he understood that it was hard to find similarities with this weird, lonely kid. Nothing much about his situation changed once he got around to attending high school. Not even his height changed much since middle school, and as everyone, even the girls, seemingly aimed for the stars, he felt left behind. It bothered him a lot that he still fit into childrens' clothing at the age of 16, even more when he was mocked for it. Even though everyone was a new kid once they entered high school, he didn't connect much with the other students. His family seemed to have set foot and there were no major changes in sight, yet he remained hesitant to form real, strong bonds with his classmates. He'd found his few friends he would occasionally hang out with, but as the years went by, he felt they drifted apart as everyone started to take an interest in relationships beyond friendship, and hobbies children shouldn't endulge in. Even though he used the little free time he had to visit PC cafes, he continuously remained one of the top of his class. He felt that, if not through a confident personality, he could gain attention through good grades. And, clinging onto every bit of attention he could get, he would even tutor his classmates for as little as some quality time. He realized why and how everyone used him for their personal gain, but he would rather work himself to death than give it up and risk his classmates turning on him. He always did what they asked of him. Whether it was to do their homework, to repair their computer, to sneak out free food from their restaurant or, as one of the oldest, buy cigarettes and alcohol for everyone.
One day, he received a message from one of the students he had bought alcohol for just an hour prior. "Hey, Josh. This is your number, right? I got it from Riley. She thinks you're really cute and you should hang out with us tonight man. You coming? -Kay" He hugged his phone tight and immediately called his mother, that he would be late today, and couldn't finish the deliveries. On his skateboard, since he couldn't drive, he rolled up to the dark little park the kids met in. He heard the music blasting from their speakers, the teens sitting on and around the park benches. He was greeted like an old friend as two guys came to fistbump him and dragged him closer to the group. "Everyone, this is Josh. Give him a warm welcome into our gang, yeeah. Cheers!" They passed the bottles around, and he stood there with one in hand, completely frozen. "I-I don't know about this.. I've never really-" "You have to drink bro, come on! Chug, chug, chug!" The others started to cheer him on as well and he looked around, his chest swelling with pride that he found his peers. He put the bottle to his lips, and again, and again. They handed him cup after cup of different liquors, and a joint on top. "Alright everyone, how about we play truth or dare? Get in a circle, game's on." They all sat on the ground, and at that point, Kihyun was about as drunk as anyone could be. Even sitting upright was hard. They started with the girl, Riley, next to him and one of the guys immediately dared her to kiss Kihyun. She smiled shyly, and took the bottle instead. "Pass, I'll drink. I need to get more drunk before i do that." As everyone aww'ed, they turned their heads towards him. "Alright Josh. Truth or dare? You know only little gay pussies choose truth." They laughed, his choice was already made for him, and so he picked dare. "Strip. Then get on your knees and meow like a fucking cat." They all laughed and pushed him to do it. He was drunk, and had never played a game of truth or dare in his life, so he thought everyone was gonna do embarrassing things. As soon as he kneeled on the ground, he noticed everything around him turning darker as the teens gathered around him, some with their phones out. "Look at this pervert. This is how he gets his good grades. That's how you look when you let Mr. Li bend you over his desk, huh? Truth, do you let your teacher fuck you like this for your grades? Everyone knows all he does is play videogames, you thought we didn't know about your stupid stream huh? Loser streams for 5 people, probably all simps he twerks for." It was Kay who held his camera directed at him, then pushed him over to his side by kicking him in the ribs and spitting on him. "Fucking fag." They turned the cameras off and laughed at Kihyun's expense, who covered his face with his hands. The students didn't need his help anymore as they were all about to graduate, and it seemed like that pushed them to show their true colours. A couple of them decided to chicken out and call it quits, but a few stayed. "You really thought I would kiss you? I'd rather die. Freak." Riley threw him an angry glare and left the rest of the beating to the boys. He'd never gotten beaten up before. This entire evening messed with his head, the alcohol, the pain, the people. Even after the kids left, he laid there in the dirt, all alone, crying and asking what he did wrong.
The video went around his school for a while. The law was informed, but the damage was already done. He started to isolate himself, and was advised to stay away from school for a while, even though those were his final weeks. But the worst thing was that his parents had to see the video, and he could tell, no matter how hard they tried to hide it, the disappointment in their eyes was inevitable. The few friends he made distanced themselves from him as a result, and he dedicated himself to the videogame, spending many sleepless nights in the gaming cafe for the last months of highschool, the following months after, and the early months of college. It took every fibre in his body to stop the crying, resist the voices in his head that told him to end it here. The voices in his head and comments online and whispers in the hallways that let him know - nobody liked him, for such stupid reasons. Matthew, his brother, started playing an important role in his life as Joshua started to turn into his role model. They were bickering a lot and they loved each other even more. At this point, he decided that it was time to revamp his image and become the brother he should be, the one Matt deserved. The last year also helped him get rid of his late-puberty traits, granting him much nicer skin, and with the help of one of his college friends, he got a style-check and new glasses. It was that year that turned his life around when one of his streams went viral and he got the nickname "dreamy gamer-boyfriend" from many online news articles as he went live with his hair unkept, his raspy morning-voice and a sleepy smile. People who weren't interested in his looks but still found him through the articles noticed that he earned the respect through his gameplay as well, and though he had no intention of going into professional gaming, many people came to him for advice as he dominated the mid-lane in his favourite game. The overwhelming support helped him a lot overcoming his highschool trauma, but some things seemed irreversible, as he wasn't much more confident in real life. He must have just become a little more paranoid when it came to people being nice to him, and snapping back at people came much easier to him as he turned out to become someone who spoke up if he was forced to. He felt tired of being viewed as a fragile boy (and yet it bugged him that his younger brother came closer and closer to reaching his height at a much younger age), so he earned people's respect through other means than mindless favours. The time of pleasing everyone and doing everything to be liked was over, and he learned that being likeable wasn't the only thing in life that could keep him going as him and his brother grew to be close friends, bonding over hardships, and little brotherly fights.
